Paris Hilton, Cousin Settle Car Suit Monday
A California couple’s lawsuit over a traffic collision involving a car owned by Paris Hilton has been settled.
Court records show that the settlement was reached Friday and the case will likely be formally dismissed at an August 29th hearing. Terms of the agreement were not made available.
Ivan Alvarez and Monica Delgado sued Hilton and her cousin, Brooke Ashley Brinson of Indian Wells, for personal injury, negligence and property damage in May 2006.
The lawsuit says Brinson was driving a Mercedes-Benz that belonged to the heiress when it rear-ended another car on Interstate 10 in May 2004. Hilton was not in the car. Read more
